The sweet bread recipe sweet bread recipe, also called Panettone is a traditional Italian cuisine that unleavened bread several times in their preparation, it becomes a spongy bread, with an easy recipe to complement the Christmas table.
Ingredients:
* 2 tbsp. yeast
* 1 / 4 cup warm water
* 1 cup milk
* 1 / 2 cup sugar
* 1 tsp. salt
* 2 eggs
* 1 / 2 cup melted butter
* 6 cups flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
* 3 / 4 cup raisins
* 1 / 2 cup chopped dates
* 1 / 2 cup chopped candied orange peel
* Polishing cup chopped pumpkin
Preparation:
Mix and let stand the yeast with warm water. On the other hand hot milk mixed with sugar and salt when they are cool add the dissolved yeast, then add the beaten eggs, melted butter and 5 cups flour, mix well and knead until dough becomes elastic and smooth, into a ball and let rise.
While leavened dough, chop and mix the fruit and nuts with 1 cup of flour.
When the dough has doubled in size bake again and add the fruit mixture taking care that they are well distributed.
Put in a pan with fireplace, greased, let rise to twice its size and bake in oven at 175 º C. for 50 minutes. The bread should sound hollow when you soon.
